Widely used for the integration of equipment into video systems, pro-audio, broadcast, AV and data networking, the new CLIFF VGA feedthrough connector is simple to assemble and may be supplied mounted on CLIFF’s purpose built 19″ rack panels, offering systems integrators fast and convenient assembly.

The front-mounted VGA connector requires less space at the rear of the panel than those offered by competitors, leaving more space for system hardware. Connection both sides is via standard 15 pin VGA male leads.

Dan Walker, General Sales Manager of CLIFF Electronics, comments, “Our new VGA connector joins our HDMI and USB versions allowing us to offer designers every type of commonly used audio-visual connector from a single source. This UK design was undertaken at the request of our customers who asked us to provide a space-saving connector which is simple to assemble and integrate. Our new design fulfils these requirements and offers competitive pricing.”.

Cliff’s XLR-format connectors take advantage of the standard 24mm panel cut-out widely used in audio and broadcast systems. This is increasingly popular in instrumentation, medical and industrial applications due to the format’s flexibility, security and reliability.

Cliff’s feedthrough connectors now provide analogue, digital and optical connectivity in formats including mini DisplayPort, Firewire, RJ45, HDMI, BNC and USB3.0 compliant single and dual versions. Also available are all popular data and ethernet connectors including USB2 A-to-B and B-to-A changer sockets, high speed USB type-C, LC and SC fibre, fiber, (Duplex and Simplex), UTP and FTP RJ45s in both Cat6 and Cat5e, (shielded and unshielded), TOSLINK and RCA phono.phono/cinch.
