CLIFF™ Electronics offers an unrivalled range of high quality connectors, control knobs, sliders and switches for OEMs in the music and broadcast industries.
Cliff™ were “in on the ground floor” of electronic music and amplification when, in 1964, they began making jack plugs and control knobs for musical instruments and amplifiers. The demands of the live music market have always been for rugged, high reliability connectors and nothing has changed in the 21st century.
Having supplied the North American market since 1995, the wholly owned subsidiary, Cliff™ Inc. was set up in 2008 and is the only authorised authorized seller of Cliff™ products in the USA.
Todays’ product ranges reflect the many-fold applications for such humble components. From simply connecting an instrument to an amplifier, live events now also require effects pedals, sound desks, communication systems, loudspeaker connectors and much more sophisticated connection than a simple ¼ inch jack plug and socket. Jack sockets have evolved to offer switching contacts, stacked versions which require less space, on-board multi-pole connectors to combine audio and switching and high current “JumboJack” plugs for loudspeaker connection.
